Robin Chan is an investor at Conductive Ventures combining broad experience in corporate development, strategy and investing roles across tech and media. He enjoys helping founders build disruptive companies and is always keen to meet the next great entrepreneur. Before joining Conductive, he was an early-stage investor at Meta.

Robin began his career as a journalist covering business and economics. Seeing firsthand how technology was reshaping the media industry, he developed an interest in innovation, which ultimately led him to venture capital.

Before joining Conductive Ventures, Robin was an early-stage investor at Meta, where he backed startups in AI, AR/VR, e-commerce, and the future of work. His investments include Inworld, LifeAt, Arrow and OlaClick. Prior to Meta, he worked in Corporate Strategy at Yahoo, helping shape the growth strategies across its portfolio after the $5 billion acquisition by Apollo.

Robin also led Corporate Development at Business Insider, driving special projects and M&A deals, including the acquisition of media startup Morning Brew. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banking associate at Goldman Sachs in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications group in New York.

Robin is a contributing author on several books about Singapore. He has an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and a B.Sc. in International Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
