Akane comes from a diverse background, with over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, business development, and corporate planning across both software and hardware sectors at major corporations.
During her time at these companies, she developed a passion for supporting entrepreneurs by offering opportunities and resources to scale their businesses, while also fostering innovation within large enterprises.
Prior to joining Conductive Ventures, Akane worked in strategic planning for the B2B retail sector at Panasonic, where she focused on building strategic partnerships with startups, accelerators, and corporations. She played a key role in providing hands-on support for the implementation and launch of various industry-focused communities and initiatives.
Akane began her career in sales and marketing for e-commerce and direct marketing clients at Biprogy (formerly Nihon Unisys) in Japan, where she generated revenue by acquiring new accounts and forging partnerships that led to the launch of a new SaaS platform. She transitioned into business development when she moved to Silicon Valley and joined Biprogy USA in 2011.
Akane earned a B.A. in Human Sciences from Keio University in Japan
